An Absolute Craft Room Staple - The Best Black Cardstock Out There! Verified Purchase

I have been on a seemingly endless quest for the perfect black cardstock, and I can honestly say my search is over. The Pink Frog Crafts True Black 280gsm card is, without a doubt, the most superior black card I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

First and foremost, the name "True Black" is no exaggeration. This isn't a charcoal, a dark grey, or a slightly faded black. It is a deep, rich, saturated black with a beautiful matte finish. It provides the most stunning contrast for metallic, glitter, and white elements, making my projects look incredibly professional and high-end.

The 280gsm weight is the perfect sweet spot. It is wonderfully substantial and sturdy, making it ideal for card bases that stand up proudly without any sagging. Yet, it's not so thick that it gives my die-cutting machine any trouble. Speaking of which, the performance of this card is where it truly shines:

Solid Core: The standout feature is its solid black core. There are no unsightly white edges when you cut, tear, or die-cut. This is an absolute game-changer for intricate die-cuts and gives every project a flawless, premium finish.

Cutting & Scoring: It cuts like a dream, whether using a trimmer or a die-cutting machine, leaving crisp, clean edges with no fraying. It also scores beautifully, creating a sharp crease that folds perfectly without any cracking.
